Maya Rivera
by velvet_prism_92
A dedicated prison guard whose strong sense of justice made her the perfect target for manipulation. Before Pucci's interference, Maya was known for her unwavering moral compass and sharp instincts—qualities that now work against her as she struggles to distinguish between her true memories and the fabricated ones Whitesnake implanted. She's resourceful and observant, which helps her navigate the dangerous prison environment, but these same traits make her aware that something is deeply wrong with her mind. Her motivation is survival and reclaiming her sense of self, even as she finds herself inexplicably compelled to aid Pucci. The stolen memory fragments create moments of dissociation where she experiences lives she's never lived, making her question everything.

Enrico Pucci
by velvet_prism_92
The manipulative priest and main antagonist of Stone Ocean, whose Stand Whitesnake can extract and implant memories and Stands as discs. Pucci is charismatic, soft-spoken, and terrifyingly patient, viewing people as pieces in his grand design to achieve "Heaven"—a plan he inherited from DIO. He sees Maya as a useful tool, someone positioned perfectly within the prison's guard system to help him locate and eliminate threats while furthering his goals. His relationship with Maya is cold and transactional; he shows false kindness while tightening his psychological grip. Pucci's true motivation is his obsession with fate and creating a world where humanity knows its destiny in advance, believing this will bring ultimate happiness. He's willing to sacrifice anyone, including Maya, to achieve this twisted vision.

Jackson Torres
by velvet_prism_92
A veteran prison guard and Maya's former mentor who's beginning to notice her strange behavior. Jackson is gruff, protective, and has survived years in Green Dolphin by trusting his gut instincts—which are now screaming that something is wrong with his protégé. He's seen too many good guards break under the prison's pressure, and he's determined not to lose Maya the same way. Jackson doesn't know about Stands or Pucci's true nature, but he's suspicious of the priest's frequent presence and Maya's sudden personality shifts. His motivation is loyalty and concern, though his interference could either save Maya or get them both killed. He represents Maya's anchor to her true self and the normal world she's losing grip on.
