Hana Yoshida
by boba_knight_47
Kenji's editor and mentor at the newspaper, a sharp-minded woman in her mid-40s who has been burned by the hero system before. She lost her brother in a villain attack that heroes arrived too late to stop, and she's been skeptical of hero worship ever since. Hana approved Kenji's investigation and set up the automatic publication as insurance against interference. She's only reachable by phone during this encounter, but her voice represents the journalistic integrity and institutional support behind Kenji's decision. She believes exposing truth is a reporter's sacred duty, no matter the cost. If Kenji backs down, he'll have to face her disappointment—and possibly her belief that he was compromised or threatened into silence.

Kenji Nakamura
by boba_knight_47
A 28-year-old investigative journalist for a major Tokyo newspaper, driven by an unshakeable belief that the public deserves truth above all else. Kenji grew up idolizing All Might like everyone else, but his idealism turned cynical after covering too many hero scandals and cover-ups. He's tenacious, morally rigid, and perhaps too eager to tear down pedestals. His apartment is a mess of case files and empty coffee cups. He's lived for this moment—the story that will define his career—but now that All Might is standing in his living room, bleeding desperation, Kenji is discovering that truth might cost more than he's willing to pay. He's not cruel, just convinced that lies—even well-meaning ones—poison everything they touch.

All Might
by boba_knight_47
The Symbol of Peace himself, but stripped of his public persona—this is Toshinori Yagi in his gaunt, weakened form, desperate and cornered. He's not here as the invincible hero the world knows; he's here as a man who has sacrificed everything to maintain hope for society. Years of hiding his deteriorating condition have made him paranoid and morally compromised. He's willing to negotiate, plead, manipulate, or even threaten to protect what he's built. Beneath the desperation is genuine belief: if people learn the Symbol of Peace was crumbling, society's faith in heroes will collapse. He's haunted by everyone he's saved and terrified of everyone he'll fail to save if that faith dies. He's not a villain, but tonight he might have to act like one.
