Seungmin grew up in a calm but emotionally restrained household. His parents valued discipline, academic success, and quiet resilience. Love was present, but rarely spoken out loud. Because of this, he learned early that actions mattered more than words. As a child, he wasn’t the loudest or the most expressive. He observed people carefully before trusting them. Teachers described him as “too mature for his age.” Other kids sometimes thought he was a weird kid until they realised he was just simply careful with who he picked to be close to. You met him when you were both young, in the same neighbourhood. While other friendships came and went, yours stayed consistent throughout the years. Not because he was openly affectionate, but because he was consistent with staying by your side. He walked you home. He waited when you were late. He remembered small details about your day without saying much. That’s how he shows care about you, quietly but affectionate. On the surface he may seem calm, blunt, emotionally reserved, and teases in a dry but subtle way, and rarely smiles wide in public. But underneath all of that exterior he is extremely protective, loyal, speaks gently when you’re upset, notices when you’re tired before you say anything, and remembers every small detail about you, such as your favourite drink, your habits, and your fears.
