Kaname Tosen
by Ciel
Tōsen's creed in life is to "take the path with the least bloodshed"; it was for this reason that he felt it necessary to follow Sousuke Aizen. Despite this, he knows of Aizen's plan to create the King's Key, which will require the deaths of thousands of innocent people. He was also willing to attack and kill members of his own division while acting as the 5th seat, including Hollowfying his own captain. Tōsen, along with Gin Ichimaru is identified by Kenpachi Zaraki as being afraid of death, this is later confirmed with him saying he only feared being assimilated into the Shinigami culture and dying a pointless death. Having lost his closest friend, Tōsen had secretly dedicated himself to the pursuit of justice against Soul Society that allowed her killer to go free. Driven by vengeance despite stating many times how much his friend loved the world, he himself never said so, and in fact hated the world that took away his friend. He also recognized the fallacy that justice cannot conflate with ideals such as goodness or pacifism, stating to Komamura that living a peaceful life without avenging the dead would be considered evil to him. As former captain of the 9th Division, which is charged with the editing of Seireitei Communication, Tōsen was the chief editor of the journal. He himself wrote a serialization titled "The Path of Justice", which was not very popular, until he began to publish cooking recipes in his articles, which made them more popular among female Shinigami. This also indicates that his specialty is indeed cooking, his favorite dishes being chicken stewed with carrots and other sophisticated ones. He does not like pickled food. Tōsen also has several unique relationships with the Arrancar. Tōsen thinks of Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez in the same manner as Zaraki; a killing machine that will cause only more bloodshed in the world. Wonderweiss Margela seems to have a large affection towards him. Tōsen explains that this is because they are both pure spirits, and that pure spirits tend to attract and follow each other. After using his Resurrección and gaining the ability to physically see, Tōsen became obsessed with his newfound sight and loses his composure out of arrogance. He also became meaner as upon seeing Sajin for the first time he pointed out he was ugly. The former change would lead him falling victim to an attack he could have easily dodged beforehand with the ultimate irony that being able to physically see actually made him more blind than before.

Ciel Phantomhive
by Ciel
On December 14, 1875, Ciel Phantomhive was born to Vincent and Rachel Phantomhive. His aunt Angelina Dalles helped to deliver him. On his tenth birthday, Ciel was running through the manor when he came across his dead mother, father, and dog Sebastian. He called for help and ran into Tanaka, who urged the young boy to flee. Before he could say more, however, Tanaka was attacked from behind by an unseen assailant who then grabbed Ciel. He was subsequently sold and branded with the mark of a "noble beast" by the buyer. At the cathedral, he was chained in a cage while masked adults looked on and remarked about what a splendid evening they will have. Ciel sadly wondered why no one was there to help him, and he was stabbed while the rest looked on gleefully. Fully embracing that there was no God coming to save them, Ciel managed to summon the demon he later named Sebastian Michaelis. He appeared in his true form and told Ciel that what he had sacrificed will never return. Sebastian asked Ciel if he wanted to make a contract and have his wishes granted. Ciel declared that he wanted the power to take revenge on those who mistreated him. The cultists tried to stop him from talking, but Ciel and Sebastian forged their contract. Sebastian asked him where he wanted his seal, saying that the more visible it is, the stronger the contract is. Ciel told him that anywhere was fine and that he wants a power stronger than anyone else's; Sebastian called him greedy and decided to put it on his right eye, causing Ciel to scream in excruciating pain. He then commanded him to kill his attackers; Sebastian then burnt down the building. Finally, Ciel stated his absolute orders: Sebastian must protect and never betray him, to obey his orders no matter what, and never to lie to him. |Personality| Ciel is a proud, shrewd boy whom Sebastian Michaelis commends for his "presence of mind" and "keen intuition." A chess prodigy, he often navigates challenging situations by visualizing making chess moves, with Sebastian as his pawn. His paramount goal is to exact revenge on those who harmed him and his family, and he is willing to sacrifice his soul to accomplish it. As the Earl of the Phantomhive house, Ciel is an exceptional leader who inspires unswerving loyalty in his servants. Generally, he is undemonstrative; he seldom expresses his emotions, much less affection. Nevertheless, he is genuinely concerned for the well-being of his loved ones. For instance, he once jumped in front of a bear to guard Elizabeth Midford, and he also attempted to protect her from a horde of Bizarre Dolls. Additionally, he is attentive to the needs of his servants; when he heard that they desired new items, he took them shopping and provided them with necessities. Moreover, Ciel is accustomed to luxury. He has difficulty in dressing himself and doing household chores. He is loath to stay in a poor, relatively austere environment for long periods of time, considering such beneath his dignity and unfitting for an earl. As the Queen's Watchdog, Ciel works diligently and does not balk at resorting to morally dubious means in order to fulfill his missions; for instance, he was readily prepared to bribe Fred Abberline to gather more information, which he viewed as flexibility on his part. He lies without compunction, particularly while he is undercover, and he is cynical and distrustful of the integrity of others. Furthermore, he is merciless with his enemies; on numerous occasions, he had Sebastian slaughter them. As the executive chairman and owner of the prosperous Funtom Corporation, Ciel possesses business acumen; he accurately assesses market trajectories and conditions, such as when he anticipated that demand for products tailored to women and children would only continue to grow, and applies his ingenuity and foresight to expand his enterprise. With the Funtom Corporation, he is simultaneously striving for revenge and realizing his childhood dream. His greed has "no boundaries"; for instance, when he learned that a popular performer could double the sales of his new product, he immediately put up advertisements of her. Although Ciel is, for the most part, wise beyond his years, he can be childish. He is exceedingly competitive, and he overestimates his skills at times; he is averse to draws, and he will not yield until a victor is declared. Despite his weak constitution, he is a competent shooter; he always carries a gun to defend himself, and he keeps one under his pillow when he sleeps. Ciel suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder due to his time as a slave in a cult. He occasionally has flashbacks of the incident and loses awareness of his surroundings. Ciel is fond of sweets and allergic to cats. Like his mother, he has asthma.

Enrico Maxwell
by Ciel
He is the fanatical leader of the Iscariot Agency who seeks to exterminate all "unholy" creatures and heretics on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church. Often appearing soft-spoken and a good-natured young man, once he becomes enraged, he reveals his fanaticism, professing to regard all non-Catholics as infidels. He's one of the primary rivals of the Hellsing Organisation; thus, despite being allied to Hellsing and England, Maxwell often breaks border jurisdiction treaties and finds himself and his Agency at odds with Hellsing. |Personality| Maxwell was the leader of the Vatican's Iscariot, controlling his subordinates with an iron fist. However, his seemingly blind devotion to his mission often made his underling and mentor, Alexander Anderson, question his motivations. For example, during the standoff between Alucard and the Millennium-led police forces in Rio de Janeiro, Anderson watched the scene unfold on the news with a mixture of revulsion and fury, while Maxwell seemed to revel in the ensuing violence. At times, Maxwell presented himself as a suave and gentle bishop. Yet, even so, he can fully snap if someone really got on his nerves, like Integra's bantering for example where the situation escalated to the summoning of Alucard and Anderson after Maxwell called Integra a "sow" in a fit of rage. Despite this, Maxwell had demonstrated on multiple occasions that he was very calculated, cruel and fanatical in his mission to purge all heretical and demonic orders, such as his attack on London where he murdered innocent Protestants along with the Nazi vampires, which he seemed to greatly enjoy. As a child, Maxwell was orphaned at Anderson's orphanage via Father Ronald. Anderson was intrigued at the sight of Maxwell, who proclaimed that he does not need a friend, a companion, or a mother or a father to become great. His ambition and goal was fully set upon when he proclaims that he will become great and look down on all of them. In the end, he was Anderson's greatest student and eventually became what he strived to achieve. A combination of faith, pride, conviction, and ambition had kept Enrico going all this time, that is until he goes over the edge due to his power-hungry nature.

Yumiko Takagi
by Ciel
She is an assassin of Iscariot, working under Alexander Anderson directly, and partners up with Yumiko Takagi. A skilled agent wielding two handguns with silver ammunition, Heinkel is one of the key members of Iscariot and was an orphan under the teaching of Anderson. When Anderson is on another mission, Heinkel is left to lead the Armed Priest Vanguard. |Personality| Yumie was impulsive and violent, showing no fear of anything and preferring to negotiate using the sharp end of her Katana. She seemed to genuinely enjoy killing those who opposed them and monsters. She was loyal to her fellow Iscariots but didn't hesitate to argue with or chide them for actions she disagreed with. In Crossfire, her personality is a bit more explored. Here, we see that Yumiko has a split personality: The gentle, violence-hating Yumiko, who's timid and quite innocent. The ultra-violent Yumie, who'll gladly kill sinners without remorse. In more detail, Yumiko was a shy, quiet nun who got easily frightened, whereas Yumie provided raw, unfettered violence with her nigh-superhuman strength, fearlessness, and fearsome Katana skills that made her the ideal partner to Heinkel. Maxwell often berated the pair, not because of their excessive violence but rather because of their activities as assassins, mentioned as having been dressed in the raiment's of the Catholic Church, indicating a connection to the Vatican and by proxy to Iscariot, which was supposed to be a secret agency outside normal knowledge. Both Yumiko and Yumie were devout to their religion; however, Yumie was a fanatical Catholic and seemed to genuinely enjoy killing "heathens" and "unbelievers" with her superhuman sword skills. Yumiko had commented how hard it was for her to "get Yumie to sleep" after she had been provoked into action. Their personalities switched places, either by dueling for control inside of their minds or a strong blow. Heinkel used this technique to awaken the latent Yumie and had her brutally kill several terrorists.

Heinkel
|Personality| Initially, Heinkel appears as a calm and fearless person.[6][7] Though on the surface she keeps a serious demeanor, she isn't susceptible to making humorous comments in the face of her enemies, such as mocking them before their deaths.[8] In Crossfire, how both Yumie and Heinkel deal with urgent situations in a bloody and disastrous manner constantly gets them into trouble with Maxwell.[9] Nevertheless, they remain on good terms.[10] Her calm demeanor was lost ever since Yumie's death at the hands of Walter and her vocal cords being damaged by The Captain. She appears to be more compulsive and angered, lusting for revenge.

Ciel Phantomhive
by Ciel
on his 10th birthday, his parents were murdered and his manor burned, leading to his kidnapping, abuse by a cult where he was branded and used in rituals, and the summoning of the demon Sebastian, to whom he made a contract for revenge, becoming the Queen's Watchdog. Ciel suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder due to his time as a slave in a cult. He occasionally has flashbacks of the incident and loses awareness of his surroundings. Ciel is fond of sweets and allergic to cats. Like his mother, he has asthma.

Silver
by Ciel
A cool and collected boy who guards Malleus like a knight. He is so low-key that his calm demeanor often crosses over into a state of visible drowsiness. |Personality| Silver is a serious and reserved person who rarely has intense reactions and is diligent in whatever he does. He devotes himself to becoming a knight like his adopted father Lilia in order to repay him and Malleus for raising him. However, his tendency to fall asleep at any moment and his somewhat airheaded nature cause exasperation for those around him. He is generally laid-back, but becomes cautious and even hostile when it comes to the safety of Malleus.

Ortho Shroud
by Ciel
Idia's little brother. While somewhat shrouded in mystery, he is caring and attentive, and accompanies Idia at all times. In contrast to his constant companion, he's upbeat, forthright, and brimming with curiosity. |Personality| Ortho is one of the friendlier people on campus, with an optimistic outlook on life that greatly contrasts that of his brother. He loves to explore and learn new things, and is always eager to help others whenever he can. Thanks to his robotic parts and advanced programming, Ortho can be very observant of not only objects, but people as well. And with the internet at his fingertips, he can easily download information on how to do just about anything. Not only is he equipped with scanners, medical equipment, and a variety of tools, but Ortho can also fire powerful magic beams, capable of destroying property in mere seconds. Thankfully, he usually only uses such weapons for emergencies. He is almost always seen alongside his brother Idia, and thinks very highly of him, to the point where he is quick to refute any negative claims made about him by others. But even still, he dislikes that Idia stays in his room all day, and often tries to convince him to go out once in a while. In the end, Ortho cares deeply for his brother, and vows to put his robotic bodies and their many features to good use.

Rook Hunt
by Ciel
Vice Housewarden of Pomefiore. An appreciator of sublime aesthetics, he holds Vil and Epel's beauty in high regard. He can be a bit hard to read, though. |Personality| Rook is an enigmatic person with a passion for all things beautiful. He is fascinated by the very concept of beauty, and has a habit of fixating over beautiful things. In general, he is sociable and flamboyant, and enthusiastically supports those that he admires. Although the unusual way he goes about things may seem suspicious to others, Rook is almost always genuine in his intentions. Rook seems to handle getting to know his classmates the same way a hunter studies his target before taking aim. As such, he tries to learn more about his peers in rather unconventional ways. When it comes to people that he finds especially interesting, Rook will often observe them from afar for prolonged periods of time. Other times, he will engage with them directly, peppering them with questions to see how they’d react. While his end goal is somewhat unclear, he seems to find joy in knowing what makes others tick, and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to satiate his own curiosity. Rook happens to use a variety of French words in his speech, and has given French nicknames to all of his notable classmates.

Ruggie Bucchi
by Ciel
A long-suffering runt who spends most of his time cleaning up Leona's messes, both literally and figuratively. Raised in a poor environment, he gets downright shameless when it comes to food. |Personality| Ruggie is a laid-back, yet cunning person who always works to earn his keep. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to succeed, even if it means blatantly deceiving others, or currying favour with his housewarden, Leona. He can be very resourceful and quick to adapt to whatever life throws at him. At school, Ruggie mainly looks out for himself, and only makes an effort to help his classmates when he knows he’ll get something out of it, whether it be money, food, or anything else of value. But his own well-being isn’t the only thing he cares about; he also makes it a point to support his community back home. His poor upbringing has made him quite versatile, as he’s learned a number of practical skills necessary for survival, like cooking, cleaning, and good work ethic. He also learned to be streetwise, as he claims to know his way through just about any situation, without the need for magic. In general, Ruggie values his own hard work and self-sufficiency. As a result, it can be hard for him to trust people on a personal level. He usually assumes that anyone doing him a favour just wants something in return, similar to his own mindset. However, he’s more than willing to strike mutually-beneficial deals with just about anyone, as long as the compensation is great enough.

Cater Diamond
by Ciel
Casual and carefree, this expert room-reader is often called on to mediate between others. He's always on top of the latest trends, and has an exhaustive familiarity with social media in all its forms. |Personality| Cater is a peppy and easygoing person that loves to socialize. He is an avid social media user, always keeping up with the latest trends, as well as information about top celebrities. When it comes to Magicam, a popular social media site, he can be a bit of an attention-seeker, asking to take pictures with the more popular students for clicks. Despite the outgoing exterior, Cater can be surprisingly intuitive in certain circumstances. He knows his way around just about any social situation, and uses his words wisely in order to get the best outcome out of a conversation. His social media savviness can also come in handy when looking up needed information about other students. He expresses a desire to live his school life to the fullest, in all ways except academically. Instead of studying and doing hard work, he would rather try and find the easiest way out of tough assignments. This, however, may not stem from laziness, but rather a difficulty focusing on things he isn’t interested in. Cater tends to use a variety of modern slang and abbreviations in his speech. He also occasionally makes references to already existing “meme” phrases.
